According to an email I received, this is one of the math problems in the UPCAT. (I'm not sure how true that is, but that's beside the point that the problem is indeed challenging.)

What is the missing number in this logical series?

1, 2, 6, 42, 1806, ____???

The email said this, too:

If you're an engineer (or history major) , you should be able to solve it in (under) three minutes, if you're an architect, in three hours; if you're a doctor , in six hours; if you're an accountant , in three months and if you're a lawyer , probably never. (Excuse me, but there are exemptions to rules... ).

I solved it in under half a minute.

Guys, thanks for making my weekend. The outing was really fun! Any ideas for the rest of the summer? :D

Anyway, I'm sure napanood ninyo 'yong laban nina Pacquiao at Hatton. Mismatch talaga, in my opinion.

More than a year ago, before Pacquiao beat Marquez, people were thinking that a Hatton vs. Pacquiao fight would end up with a Hatton victory. Hatton's only loss so far back then was against Mayweather, Jr., and that fight took ten rounds. The Pacquiao vs. Hatton match barely lasted two rounds. This reminds me of how people thought Obama was no contender for the '08 US Elections. A few years back, people already saw Obama running for president, but they were all looking at 2012, not 2008. They thought Obama would not be ready by 2008, much like how many thought Pacquiao would not be ready to battle Hatton at this point in his career.

So, what does all this tell us?

I don't know about you guys, but I'm thinking: It's really never too early for anything. Perhaps we will face the risk of losing, but we'll never really know until we try, right?
